Aquariums are a widespread hobby, and many people enjoy collecting and maintaining exotic fish. For this reason, there are many screensavers that resemble aquariums, aimed at those people who want to enjoy their fish collections even on their desktops. Nevertheless, the Comic Aquarium Screensaver is not your typical program that shows slideshows or more or less realistic fish images. As its name implies, it features an aquarium setting, but with cartoonish characters in 3D. Thus, you can find comic-style starfish, clownfish, algae, and even a vintage-style diver.
The screensaver shows different views from nine virtual cameras at different angles, and you can select which of them you want to watch. Also, you can set the language of the Help and the Settings texts, as well as the image resolution according to your system powers. The sound effects are a very interesting feature in this screensaver, since they change according to each camera angle, creating a nice stereo effect. Nevertheless, you can disable sounds if you want.
Maybe the only disadvantage of this program is the fact that a "nag screen" appears after a few minutes of running, but this only happens in the demo version.
